How long did it take for CEAC to update your account to start the application? Payment went through but still says in process.

Also, is there way to contact them directly? Country of eligibility is correct but embassy listed for different country.

Can take up to a week after payment - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-1-submit-a-petition/step-3-pay-fees.html

If you need to contact NVC then you do that here - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html

Which consulate have you got listed?

That would depend if she wishes to adjust or consulate process

@Queen30
As you will be receiving different case numbers for each parent, so the only option is to file through those case numbers at CEAC. I assume it will be same as USCIS where you file two I-130's and got approval of both the parents on same day. Hopefully, you will get same interview day for both of your parents (which is the most common scenario).

How did you all treat I-864 form's part 3 Item 1 to 3?

If you are sponsoring both parents did you select item 1 and 2?

I just selected 1. Yes that is all. They have separate petition so can’t be number two and can’t be three cos one is more fitting lmao i mean you cant choose more than one so 😂

I guess i am confused why it is so laughable. Moreover, you actually can select more than one option because application allows it.

I am so happy my mom's case was approved today!

priority date 2/9/23 - approved 1/11/24

What do I have to do next? I don't quite understand if I have to fill de i485 right now or later....

Does NVC contact me?

Thanks!!

USCIS will update your case if to let you know that you case has been sent to NVC for further process (they dont always do that). Or will you receive an email from NVC that they have your case and CASE ID and Invoice ID assigned. When you are able to log in you have to pay first, only then when payment processed you can start your applications otherwise you cannot do anything. When making payments just know that you can only pay one at a time.

Anyone else can provide approval time frame between parents?

Thanks,

CEAC update yesterday: case is documentarily qualified.

NVC will work with the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General in CAIRO, EGYP to schedule an interview appointment for you. Once we have confirmed an interview date, we will send a notice to you, your petitioner, and attorney (if applicable).”
