Hello Everyone, 

 

Just wanted to start a topic for January 2023 filers.

I just submitted I-130 forms for both parents.

Now we wait 🙌🏽🇺🇸

Correction: I submitted I-130 for both of my parents today - 01/16/23.

Nice. My estimation is 10-12months. My Field office is Potomac

Case received by USCIS. My field office is Texas. Estimated processing time: 10 months.

Estimated time updated to 9 months for one of my parents.

I did for my parents today. I got a sibling who is 19 years old now. will be 21 years on dec 2024. do you guys think my parents will be able to immigrate before he turns 21 and file a petition for him.

Hey 

For my moms filing . I sent my naturalization certificate, passport page, birth certificate and marriage certificate (since I have a name change)

And my moms birth certificate and marriage certificate ( since she has a name change as well). This was actually one of the simplest supporting documents since K-1/AOS Lol.

Lol nah , I just upload what they asked for but in reference to your question someone replied in a previous post saying when it comes to parents , we don’t have to show “proof” of a bonafide relationship due to our birth certificates. What would be prob more of a concern is if the beneficiary had a B1/B2 visa and they overstayed their time/ caught working , giving birth to a US citizen child in the pass etc which may hinder an approval/denying of the I-130 application. 🤷🏾‍♀️

1) my Birth Certificate

2) my naturalization certificate

3) my US passport

I am NOT submitting my marriage certificate because I have never changed my name - Anyone thinks I should still submit it?

Do i need to submit my mom's  1) pictures, 2) divorce certificate 3) her birth certificate?

 

Please let me know if all above is correct?

You don't have to submit your marriage certificate.
