Travel Outside The U.S.

N-400

Have you taken a trip outside of the United States in the last 5 years?

Include short trips that lasted longer than 24 hours and visits to Canada and Mexico.

Maybe a silly question but I’m stuck on it!!

I moved to the US in 2019 on CR1 visa (already applied to I-751), and I never travel to another country on those 3 years and some months, but the question is about the past 5 years. I’m confused 🫤.

I just answer NO because I never leave the US?

Thanks

If you are applying under the 3 year rule, then only answer the question for the past 3 years.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..
