My mom has an interview date received today.

What original documents be presented from Petitioner's side.

I know the applicant's original documents to be presented but I am not sure on the petitioner side.

  • Affidavit of support the original one?
  • The Naturalization cert?
  • Birth Cert
  • Marriage Cert
  • old and current paystubs?
  • The Tax statement new and old?

Please advise. I am planning to send these originals by courier to her.

She should have received a checklist and instructions from her consulate in  her interview instructions. Minimum is the original ( and a photocopy) of everything submitted to NVC including AOS documentation ..  but consulates are all different and many have country specific additional requirements

Thank you. Original civil docs plus the most recent federal tax return. I just have read it and all docs were electronically submitted so on the interview, my mom should have all of these so I will send them by courier on time.

I am just not comfortable sending Original docs like naturalization certificate.😃 by courier.

Because that was part of the I-130, which was approved.

She will need the originals of her documents submitted to the NVC under the IV section, plus copies of documents you submitted under the AOS section.
