Just wondering if there has been any progress on anyone's I-130?

Mine was submitted January 27th, processing through Potomac. Estimated time in my account is 3 weeks, but I'm not very optimistic based on what I've been seeing for 2022 filers, which all appear to still be in progress.

I filed on January 28th and last I checked my case is also in Potomac. In the past few months our estimated time went from 11 months, to 5 months, to 3 weeks for like a day or so, and now it’s been at 4 months for about a month or so. I’m trying to hope that the estimate is correct, but I know realistically it probably isn’t. But still. I’m living overseas with my husband who I’m sponsoring and I’m ready to go “home” aka America.

Unfortunately I'm not seeing much evidence yet that the reduced processing times are "true", either from my own case or the various groups I'm in.

I'm a Jan 6 filer, currently in Texas. Estimated time dropped from ~7mo to ~4weeks around the same time as everyone else saw the big reduction. It then counted down nicely and is now in "taking longer than expected".

Of course there's still time for the situation to change, but I'm staying buckled in assuming the ~12mo we'd expect normally for the USCIS stage.

So bizarre to me how so many people have different timelines in their account even though we filed around the same time. Mine now says two weeks, so I'll let you know if I actually hear anything. Looks like the standard is getting the "taking longer than normal" message for months, or pure luck.

I am also in the same boat as you. Good luck to us all!

No updates. Mine is unfortunately sitting at “taking longer than expected” for over a month now.

I learned my file is actually at the Texas service center despite the receipt notice. Based on others experience, it seems like they are currently approving Sept. 2022.

UPDATE: Absolutely speechless. I got a notification yesterday that my case was being actively reviewed again. Went under the documents tab online and the approval notice was there! I’m completely shocked. Good luck to everyone keep your hopes up!

Congratulations. Thanks for update. Mine is still showing 1 week (NOA1 date is 17th Jan 2023). Hoping for the best.

Thanks! I have another i130 for an IR2 which is also showing 1 week for me. The status however hasn’t changed from case was received since I filed online. I had filed both my previously approved i130 and the pending i130 together. Which service center is yours at if you don’t mind me asking?

Both of mine were originally at the Texas service center but the first i130 approval came from Nebraska and Emma says my other i130 is being processed at Vermont. Hoping we both hear some good news soon!

Mine I130 when originally filled online was at Potomac, but afterwards it got transferred to Nebraska as per Emma live agent. I believe it is still at Nebraska but didn't check it again with Emma recently.

Oh ok. I honestly don’t know why my Nebraska i130 was approved rather quickly. I did file the K-3 not sure if that had any effect on it. I read earlier that if I want to have both i130’s processed together/linked at the NVC I have to wait till they’re both approved. The waiting game continues.

Has anyone had any updates on their I-130’s? My online USCIS page was showing 1 week remaining and now shows the taking longer than expected message. I’ve read its not reliable but hoping for the best!

Nope, I have 3 pending. None of them had the same processing time. They were all filed the same day and are approx 3.5 months different.

One timed out end of June, taking longer than expected, the next one timed out mid August taking longer than expected and the last one shows 3 weeks. It seems by everything I see it's 11-12 mo.

Yeah, and that's not 80% either. I have no idea the trigger for processing time, I suspect it's trying to merge the old and new system and it's just all out of whack. No idea really.

Mine is showing longer than expected time message since one week now from Nebraska SC.
