Fill Passport Form Online as LPR

Is it safe to use the form filler on the DOS's website to fill out a passport form prior to my Oath of Allegiance so I can have everything ready to apply same day I get naturalized? Or is it considered claiming citizenship as an LPR? The DS-11 does have a y/n "US Citizen?" question in it.

 

Note I am not talking about fully applying, just filling out the online form here and keeping it on stand by until I am a US citizen.

The form filler ("wizard") is just an automated tool that helps you prepare the application form. You are not claiming anything until you submit that form by signing and taking an oath before a sworn passport agent.

 

Moreover, info input is not stored anywhere on the State Dept. servers, but cleared once you exit the page, so you're fine.

 

I asked myself the same question when I naturalized, but realized I was too paranoid.
