i cheked my status and it says the welcome letter is sent, my question is do they change the status after that with "your card is order", cause i saw a lot of u had recived that email ,and i havent yet, should i worry

No. some people never get emails. I personally wouldn't worry too much about it.

Check my (and others) signature for an example timeline. As you don't say when you received the welcome letter email, so its difficult to say whether you should worry. However usually you should get 3 sets of email when your GC is approved:

1. Welcome Letter Sent

2. Card Production Ordered

3. Approval Notice Sent

and a few days after the 3rd one, you'll get your GC in the mail.

i recieved the first email on 16 th this month...

but they made a mistake and sent me my welcome letter on the old adress, i called them and they say they dont understand why that happen, bla, bal, they couldnt help me, so now i m worried if the greencard will come and on waht adress,

I was approved on July 18th (via interview) and I havent received any emails at all, however today (July 23) I received the welcome letter via snail mail. I hope this means the GC is almost here. :)

2/23/07 - Mailed AOS packet to Chicago

2/25/07 - Package arrived in Chicago

3/05/07 - Checks cashed

3/05/07 - Received NOAs for I-765, I-485, & I-130!

3/09/07 - All touched

3/10/07 - Received biometrics appt letter

3/12/07 - All touched

3/13/07 - I-130 & I-765 touched

3/15/07 - I-485 touched

3/15/07 - Received email informing me that an RFE has been mailed to me about the I-485

3/19/07 - Received RFE for I-485 in the mail.

3/20/07 - Biometrics appt

3/21/07 - I-485 & I-765 touched

3/23/07 - Mailed back RFE with signature confirmation

3/26/07 - RFE was delivered to Lee's Summit, MO & was signed for by "Ashley Love"

3/27/07 - Received email saying that RFE has been received at MSC and that case processing has resumed

3/27/07 - I-485 touched

3/28/07 - I-485 touched

4/17/07 - I-765 & I-130 touched

4/18/07 - All touched

4/19/07 - All touched

5/10/07 - I-765 touched

5/14/07 - Received interview notice in the mail! Interview will be on July 18!!!

7/18/07 - Had interview in Memphis, TN! GC Approved!!!

7/23/07 - Received Welcome Letter (with notice date of July 19th) in the mail.

7/24/07 - Received Card Production Ordered email!

8/02/07 - Received Permanent Resident Card!!!! No more USCIS until 2009!!!!!

My husband was approved on the 20th with no interview. We received the "Welcome Letter Sent" email but nothing else. The AOS was touched on the 22nd but no change and no more emails. Who knows but I was wondering about this as well!!! Hopefully the green card will just show up and we can have a break from USCIS :)

December 28, 2007 Our Wedding Day

AOS process

April 11, 2007 Sent I-485 for AOS

June 28, 2007 Interview - Green card is on its way

We got "welcome letter sent" email on the 17th, then the physical welcome letter in the mail a couple days later. Nothing since then in email or postal mail. I'm only a little impatient. :)

We got "welcome letter sent" email on the 16th, then the physical welcome letter in the mail a couple days later. Nothing since then in email or postal mail. and i m getting worried, cause i see other people get this steps faster

I know a couple days isn't worth worrying over with USCIS but I just want the green card to go ahead and get here already since we have been approved!!!

Then today (July 24th) we received an email notice saying that today the card production had been ordered. :)

We received the Welcome Letter in the mail but no other emails about approvals or card productions. But, the letter says if we don't receive the GC in three weeks to call. So, hopefully it will be here soon.

Anyone else have any updates or more emails/letters in the mail?

AOS approved 7/20/07!!!
