Hi I have a question:

I am a US citizen and have applied for my husband.

I was sent the Affadavit of Support Fee Bill ($70) and paid it, the NVC recived it.

Then I was sent the Choice of Agent and Adress form, I sent it and the NVC recived it.

Then I was sent the Visa Fee Bill ($380)

I tthought that after I paid the affadavit of support fee, they would sent me the AOS documents and forms that I needed to fill out but instead they sent me the Visa fee bill and I still havent gotten the AOS forms.

Is this normal? Or have they made a mistake?

and also .. if I recieved the Visa fee bill a few days ago... can anyone tell me how more long of a time I have to wait?

This is how the NVC works:

DS-3032 generates --> IV bill which generates --> DS-230

AOS bill generates --> I-864

You're now waiting for the NVC to mail you the instructions for the I-864 and DS-230. Please go to the National Visa Center forum and read the first thread to have an idea of what documents you need to submit with each of these forms. That way you'll be prepared when they arrive.

hey everyone i got my co-sponser but his empolyeee giving him hard time for his job letter . what if u cant not get a job letter is there a problem helpp pzl thanksssss

Hi,

I think your co-sponsor have to show employee letter because if you read i-1864 it ask for last 3 pay stubs and employment letter. or try to get some one else as a co-sponsor.

No, the I-864 only asks for the last year tax return records. Additional tax returns, employment letter and pay stubs are optional. It's best to provide them though, especially since you have a co-sponsor.

Our appointment letter for AOS asked for updated employment letter. At the interview it was asked for specifically, even though we had submitted IRS transcripts, W2s, and 1099Rs and my income is well above the requirement.
