Your I-751 is not 4 months old though. But I get what you mean.

@igoyougoduke also wrote a whole instruction how to DIY WoM too 😃

Yeah but in a way, I don't care about the 751. I'd sue them if the N400 was a year old -hopefully I don't have to do that.

And while I like Hacking, I think I can WoM myself

You are in a position to WOM the I-751 and pave the way for others to try DIY . .posting your experience on VJ.
It will be a first .
@igoyougoduke broke ground and offered to mentor.

Go for it ! Si puedes!

Yeah but if the processing times increased up to 48 months, I feel like that's the excuse they would have to say "we told you that we were going to take our time".

However, you're giving me fuel to at least think about it. Summer would be a good time. @igoyougoduke aside from your thorough, wonderful post, do you have any solid advice or materials I should be reading?

Strike while the iron is hot. ..just for the experience. The 48 month extension is not a reasonable timeframe by any stretch of the imagination..or your favorite YouTuber would not be raking in the $$😂.

Besides , if you wait any longer there may not be an opportunity…cause I believe u will be scheduled in next 2-3 months.

Looking forward to Weekly WOM updates. Get to it. ..( cut copy paste😂)
Plus @Imperium is another valuable resource.

Most lawyers wouldn't be raking in the $$ if people were educated and self- advocated.

The main motif that I have to do it is my students. I always tell my middle schoolers to advocate for themselves -well, now I need to do it myself. I am just tired of waiting on a case that should take only two hours to look through the evidence and decide. Tired tired tired.

agree in your case n-400 should trigger i-751 decision. i would only focus on mandamus if say 6+ months after n-400 filing , you dont have a decision.

duh

I can’t find the oath ceremony scheduled. I only see them for Cleveland… how do I find oath ceremony dates?

Depends on the office.  Dallas did some oaths on same day in December...others Dallas cases were scheduled later.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Not all of them do same day oaths. I know for sure Columbus doesn’t. I just Google Naturalization ceremonies+ Ohio, but in my case it’s only giving me the northern district ones
