My wife's has been on "actively being reviewed" since Jan. 6th so not sure why you'd think you'd have an interview date by now. Not saying ours has any more priority than yours.....just going purely off of dates.

They re-used my wife's biometrics from the I-751.

We're not expecting to get notice for an interview date for at least another few months.

I understand what you’re saying. I’m just purely going off dates and timelines that I see here in VJ and on Facebook. Most of them are going pretty fast!

I got all excited today when I saw my USPS informed delivery... Something is coming my way! But then I saw that the PD on the letter says 02/01/2022, which is my PD for the 751... So yeah, I am getting the 48 month extension letter. UGH!!! I just want my interview scheduled, other people from Columbus that filed online around the same time are already getting their N400 interview scheduled, and I am just here waiting!!!!

Here is the official memo from USCIS on military training...

section 2339D(c)(1), which provides that “the term 'military-type training' includes training in means or methods that can cause death or serious bodily injury, destroy or damage property, or disrupt services to critical infrastructure, or training on the use, storage, production, or assembly of any explosive, firearm ...Feb 23, 2011

From people I have talked to, and personal experience I don't think that any basic firearm safety from your spouse or even if you take a CCW class, or firearms safety class is going to require you to mark yes in the box. They are looking for actual military serious weeks long training usually involved with some terrorist group. My wife has her CCW and has received training from me, and the classes she took in basic firearm safety. We have applied for the N400 back in November, and we didn't mark yes on that question. Since this has come up before, when we get our interview as long as everything goes well, and we don't have " The IO out to destroy people" I will ask about this. The few interviews we have had thru this process we have had mostly nice IO's, so if we get a good one, I will ask his opinion on it and report back.

Hey congrats again, and now that it is all said and done for you, did you ask at the interview?

I never got to attend the interview or the oath ceremony.  Only the applicant was allowed inside. Thought they would have eased up a bit, but no such luck.

Here on a K1? Need married and a Certificate in hand within a few hours? I'm here to help. Come to Vegas and I'll marry you Vegas style!!   Visa Journey members are always FREE for my services. I know the costs involved in this whole game of immigration, and if I can save you some money I will!

Howdy, everyone!

Still waiting on my interview to be scheduled. I have a question: about two weeks ago I was in a car accident (thank God it's just minor damage, no one was hurt yada yada) which was NOT my fault. I called the police, the police came, a report was generated. Since it wasn't my fault, I wasn't issued a ticket (the other driver was), do I need to mention this at all during my interview?

Just to be on the safe side, I asked the (very kind) police officer that was at the scene if me talking to him counts as a citation. I even explained that I had my naturalization pending, he laughed it off, said "nope, you're golden!" but I just want to check.

And even though it was minor, the estimate for the repair is about 3k!

Gotcha, thanks! That's what I figured, but I just wanted to confirm. Accident was on a Friday, by Tuesday the following week I already had the police report... Just in case

Hello everyone,

New month, same old song and dance for me. Crickets.... Estimated time until case decision: 4 months.

Meanwhile, people that applied for N400 around the same date as me are already getting scheduled for May/ June. So unfair.

USCIS wants you to hire Mr Hacking for WoM on I-751? Have you considered suing for a decision? Maybe once ROC is unstuck it will unblock N-400?
