I noticed that the NVC Case creation timeframe has increased drastically the past 2 weeks.

Anyone know the reason why?

Could it have been because of Christmas / New years week?

It's been increasing slowly since November 2022.

Hopefully the can reduce it to below 30 days again.

Right now it's at 62 days.

The same excuse that USCIS is using applies with the NVC. Backlogs, pandemic, lack of manpower and etc. I assume it is only going to get worse now because they have only moved one day from last week to this week. Last week, they were working on cases that were received by November 7th, today they are only working on cases received by November 8th.

I noticed that as well.

I'm hopeful that NVC gets a stack of cases once or twice a week.

So maybe November 7th-8th they received 800 cases for example.

Then the next stack came Novemer 15th or something.

I hope that's how it works. Otherwise this will easily turn into a 100 day waiting time frame just to create a case.😢
