im at NVC stage Unmarried son of LPR under 21 (im 20), i really dont have a emergency for request an expedite but in tired of wait, economic problems, cant get a job, my country is worst every day and i wanna leave. Backlogs here for Consulate Appoiment is 2-3 years.

Best advice I can give you is to focus on your education, technical training, anything you can do in the next 2-3 years while waiting to become qualified in a career field.  This will significantly improve your job prospects and pay once you arrive in the US.  Maybe ask your parents in the US to help you financially with your education in the DR.  Good luck!

Exactly! I was speaking to a friend a few days ago, she said she went to the dentist and they sent her to a specialist which wanted to charge $17,000 USD for a lot of stuff she didn't even need. She ended up going to Brazil for the holidays and decided to go to the dentist there. They took care of her for $300!😵

I second that! It’s cheaper to go to Brazil for dental care, including the cost of airfare. Not to mention that the quality of service is better there.

A lot of people I know go to Mexico. You get a free holiday and still save money.

If strangers on the internet can sense that you are lying/fabricating, so will US immigration agencies…

You have to wait your turn, just like everyone else.  You are no more or no less special than anyone else in the queue.

Is this you?

Now it came from medical to robbery? 🤔

Regardless, so you're telling us you're the only person (male) threatened. Between you and your 3 sisters and grandmother, who's more at risk? You're the only male who can even protect them yet you wanna leave them alone? Dude, I'm sure noone robbed you. Calm down. US isn't that rosy. You won't be swimming in dollars nor buying those cars you see on rap videos.

What you see on TV is an illusion. You have to work hard here. You won't just climb a mango tree and pluck $$$.

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

Okay, let me get this straight. You are tired of waiting, so now you are exploring valid reasons for requesting an expedite, and once you have found a reason that seems useful, you will fabricate any documentation to back up that request. That's not how expedites work, or how immigration in general works. I'm pretty sure that it is against the terms of service of this forum to discuss any of these "options". Just wait in line like everyone else.

And then people from his country come to VJ complaining about how difficult it is for them to get a visa…..    no one makes the connection there.

Trust me, we kind of figured this already.. This site is not the place to ask how to fabricate your way through an expedite. And just to add, it is an insult for people who have a genuine reason to expedite (and get denied because everybody and their uncle are now requesting expedites).

Right.   Simple math.   If all of the regular applicants request an expedite, the expedite queue becomes just as long.

Same seems to be happening with AOS (I don’t have the stats to back it up), but I feel like more and more people try to get into the US and adjust status due to the long processing times for K1’s and CR1’s, and then of course complain about not being able to work and travel. These people also ask for reasons for an expedite now. Or maybe I hang out on Reddit too much 😅

The only valid reason for expediting is if you are in danger of aging out.  And you cannot expedite - it must be the sponsor.  The whole process is a bear and is denied far more often than approved.  Good luck!

To clarify the way it is set up you can always expedite the reasons for doing so are vague. Getting approved is another matter and I have come across many examples that I was surprised they were approved

It is free, no downside so why not.

Now should you put forward as strong a case as possible absolutely

I tend to focus on the system as it is, not how it should be.
