Oh lordy. thank you for that info; that's good to know so I can relay that info to my friend as she prepares to do her part. You truly are a good helper as your name implies ☺️

The only issue you should expect is, when they download the app, make sure their internet is strong (I had my sister close any webpage she had open and make sure no one else is connected to the internet). Furthermore, to log in the app, they’re going to ask a 2 factor authentication. We chose the one that generate 10 back-up codes at a time.

each time you use a backup code to access, they’ll give you time to do as many attempts to take pics, after so many failed attempts, they log you out and you have to use another backup code to access.

Moral of the story: if you are using backup codes, once you get to the 9th, have them use a computer to log in to create 10 more so you have enough codes to do as many attempts.

sorry for the long post. That was just our experience.

I agree there is more visibility on K1, however that's probably even more frustrating because I see people getting approved who applied 14 months ago, where my case has been sitting for 15+ months and feels like they will never touch it. My NOA1 date was Oct 18 2021, and it's difficult watching all these November 2021 filers getting approved.

I just meant that as a figure of speech. I am right there with you on not really hating anyone in particular.... But this immigration process is beyond frustrating.

Frustrating it was pal! Happy to report we making progress on our end. Indeed, Submitted I-134A on January 10 for 3 people. Got a confirm the same day for 2. Since they all had to travel together (sister and 2 kids), we waited about 1month (January 13) to get the last confirm. We submitted cbp1 last night (Feb 14) and received travel authorization today. Buying tickets now.
many updates on your side?

when the photos were submitted do they have to be in true passport style fashion with white background etc? or just a nice selfie-style that's clear with good lighting?

I am getting ready to travel to Haiti to pick up my beneficiaries due to the I-134A being approved.

American Airlines just sent us the following question to which the beneficiaries must reply “Yes” or “No”.

”Are you a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, U.S national or non-U.S. citizen traveling to the United States on a qualified immigrant visa? “

For those of you who have successfully gone through, did you have your beneficiaries choose “yes” or “no”?

please this is URGENT.

Thank you Kind Internet Strangers 🙂

I would look up what qualifies as a qualified immigrant visa because that is what I would choose.

It is parole not an immigrant visa

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

The answer is no there is valid documentation to travel

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

We did submit all the documents for NVC to review them. I'm in the IR Visa category. My wife is pregnant and she is in lot of pain. I wanna be there for them, I don't know what to do. I've searching on YouTube and blog to have an idea about how it might take after being DQ to get an interview at the US embassy in port au prince. I'm confident at all I've seen people stayed they've been waiting for years even if they are in the IR visa category. I don't know if I have to apply for the Humanitarian parole I134. Please don't hesitate to share advise and experiences you may have again thank you

There is no reason not to apply for parole
