I had a dentist appoinment today. Two fillings that fractured had to be removed and replaced. My husbands calls me and ask if I could come to his job and pick up a gift he purchased for me during his lunch break. I go. He gives me a beautiful pair of gold earrings and three gold rings combined. That was very thoughtful.

Keep your warm fuzzies coming.

I swore I wouldn't come back here, but someone told me about the drama and I had to come check it out. This thread is great!

Abdel and I have been married about a year and a half now, and every day is still special. If I had to pick any particular moment that meant the most to me I think it would have been the night when we were going through some pretty tough times - his job is physically very hard, and he was really homesick - , and he came to bed really mad after talking to his brother online. When I asked him what he was so mad about he told me that his brother had told him that he didn't have to put up with this too much longer since he only had to stay married to me for 2 years and then he could leave me. He held me really tight and told me that his brother just doesn't understand life here in the US since he's never been here. He still barely talks to that brother any more, and when he sends money home he never sends any for him.

That meant a lot to me because I had no idea what they had been saying and he didn't have to tell me. The fact that he told me, and that his brother even saying that had upset him so much, really drove home how much he loves me.

I think the second most warm and fuzzy thing is that he still kisses me goodbye when I drop him off at work every morning - in front of all the other guys going into the gate, and in front of the security guards who have already teased him about it. He also always watches for me to show up on Friday nights when he's playing soccer in the park and at the first break he gets he comes up and kisses me in front of all the guys.

Oh yeah, he also picks up my dogs poop every night when we walk her. He says that is one big sign of love.

I love how after your husband spoke to his brother he held you tight and instead of telling you he loves you or that he will be with you forever, he explained that his brother is not familiar with the US. Nice.

:girlwerewolf2xn: Just because werewolves are warm and fuzzy doesn't mean they're appropriate for the warm & fuzzy topic. :innocent:

One of the last nights my fiance was here, we were sitting in my driveway and he found a plastic ring from a soda bottle. He put it on my finger and told me we were married! :jest:

Six years later, I still have it.

Divorced. To hell with him.

My husband is just awesome! I love the way he still makes me feel like a teenager and how he would do anything I asked him. I love the way he will just stop me in the middle of the mall, on our long walks....pretty much anywhere and tell me how much he loves me.

This thread is great! :dancing:
