My parent’s CEAC status says Ready since Aug 2022 but no luck of getting the appointment interview letter. Should I proceed of going through scheduling my own appointment at cgi? Also, is it going to be a problem on doing that? Are they looking that appointment letter at US Embassy Manila?

what are the requirements they are looking at st.lukes for medical?

Contact USEM.  Normally, IR5 interview letter would be sent when case status turns "Ready".

SLEC requires visa interview schedule when you book the medical.

Sorry, i am talking about the IL notifications that they should send me. I read alot of petitioners not getting it when their case was expedited by NvC to US embassy Manila. I risk of scheduling interview and medical for  my parents without IL. Hopefully DS 260 and appointment letters for the interview will work

thank you!

Do you have the visa interview appointment letters for your parents?  As long as the letter is from NVC or USEM and has the date of the visa interview, that counts as the interview letter (IL).

It’s kinda confusing because I only got a notification through email instead of Mail from USEM stating that I can schedule an appointment for their interview and I did schedule them. We didnt went to the usual process that NvC is the one who is scheduling them. I only got that email notification and the interview schedule confirmation. Hopefully that will work. 🙏🏻

thank you!

Whether you booked the interview yourself or not, would not cause issues.  As long as you have the confirmed interview schedule, that's all you need to book the medical.

Perfect. I appreciate your help. I am confused on what to do for the next steps since I am waiting for my parents petitin since 2018. The status was Ready since August bit I didnt know that petitioner can actually schedule the interview if it is expedite by Nvc to USem. I was waiting for the NVC or US EM to send me an appointment letter but I was waiting too long then I read alot of petition for Ir5 that we dont have to wait if the status is Ready we can schedule them by ourself isnt it right?

You can request NVC for an expedite if your parents case is still Documentarily Qualified (if it is not, you will need to update their documents first to get the case back into DQ status). After the expedite request, NVC will forward your request to the US Embassy in Manila and from there you can wait for their response - likely the Embassy will approve it because you have waited so long. Only then will NVC forward your parents case to the Embassy.

from there you have a couple of options:

1) You let the Embassy to schedule your parents interview. In this scenario, there is no telling when you will get that date - the experiences of folks are different - some take days, weeks or, months. I am hopeful that they will get to you much quicker.

Or, 2) you can check the NVC visa status: https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx

if it is READY - you can create a CGI account and schedule the interview yourself.

In either case, once you have a date, you can schedule the medical exam - which must be completed before the interview.

I appreciate your help. I actually did and made an account in cgi and schedule them for interview. Also, does my parents would need all the nvc welcome letters and uscis letters? Its been so long when I had that and i was thinking i misplaced those. Or i can present any letter from nvc with their case id#, ds260 and interview appointment confirmation

You need to print out the interview date confirmation from CGI to schedule the medical exam. This is ideal.

If you don't, SLEC will still accommodate your beneficiary - but the beneficiary will be asked to sign a waiver stating that they understand that the medical exam results expire within 3 to 6 months and SLEC are not liable or at fault if your beneficiary fails to secure an interview date before their medical results expire.
