Wanted to come back and say thank you for this! We've been approved by USCIS and now we're trying to figure out all the little logistical things with my fiance living in Jersey and having to fly to London separately for his medical and interview, etc. and the issue of them holding his passport came up and I came back here and sent him the link for the PASS card and realized I never responded so THANK YOU very much!

Congrats!

Congrats!

Thank you!  By chance, have you heard from NVC yet? I got my approval notice on 11/07 but have not received any communication from NVC. Was wondering if you were still waiting to hear from them as well?

No, I haven't received anything yet. I sent an inquiry yesterday, since it would have been 2 weeks since approval.

Just wondering if you've heard on your petition yet?? We had the same NOA1 so was just curious!

No worries. Only have received the NOA2 letter. Turns out my NOA2 approval date was 11/4 though that was a Saturday. The CaseTracker said 11/7 so that's a bit confusing.

Our Case number was given to us and the nvc has recieved our application,"Due to your petition type, you will not receive a request for fee payment or document submission." that means i dont have to pay a fee for the visa no longer?🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

what is the next steps?

Did you ever find out what this means, exactly?

Oh sorry I thought I was asking a different member that question! LOL they had the same NOA1 as me and last time they posted they still hadn't heard anything so was curious how they were doing!
And yes my approval date on the website said 11/7 but when I got my NOA2 it said "notice date" was 11/6. Weird

So did you already submit your DS-160 and pay the visa fee? I am trying to plan ahead on mine for next steps but haven't been contacted by NVC yet

Can I submit it before it is Ready status?

Sorry for the confusion, I guess I’m not really sure as I am trying to figure out our next steps as well but from everything I’ve read I was under the impression that you can file for DS160 as soon as your file is sent out to the embassy. 01C77281-0B5A-4000-B5C1-690D7BD0EF6B.thumb.png.8c285ce52add3734cf9fc3c2159d3962.png
