I got the NOA2 notification and we just got onto it fast. The first enquiry it hadn’t been put into the system yet, but on the second it had been and got my case number. (This was like two days) my lawyer then submitted one, and had the case number through again and the next one I did was the case was transferred to London. Once it got transferred and I got the email to stay it was we was able to sort out the ds160 and the medical and interview.

Do you have to call yourself to schedule the medical exam and interview or does NVC make the arrangements for you?

I just tried to do an inquiry online and it said it couldn't find my record - however, I found a helpful area on the NVC website stating that they are currently working on petitions that were sent to them on October 26th, so I have a little while to wait as it seems they're a bit behind on their dates. Thanks for the info!

I would just keep enquiring - I had my approval come through in august and I kept asking and it took about a week for them to transfer it from NVC to London Embassy. Then I was able to book my interview and medical!

One more question :) When you scheduled your interview, how far out (time-wise) were they scheduling? Were you able to get in fairly quick? Thanks so much!

It has not gotten into the NVC yet, did you do a public inquiry?

I booked my interview and then rang the medical centre in London and booked in. They just advise to have the medical two weeks before the interview. Interview was booked online :)

So I had my medical the 17th October. They didn’t really tell me any other dates. But when it come to booking my interview there was a few at London. I booked it for the end of October originally but changed it to November as it was easier for myself. You pretty much ring the medical and say you want to book and they will give you a date. I think I rang like the 12th and they was like we have the 17th and I just took it.

Correct, I went on the NVC Public Inquiry website. It asked for my receipt number, and I put the WAC# from my original USCIS receipt, but I'm not sure if this is the same number they are asking for.

So to start with it is that number you need. Then once they have put it into the system you will get another number and then that’s the one you use from then on to book the interview.

Ok, so when you booked your actual interview at the London Embassy, was this still in August when you originally did the NVC inquiry?  The reason I am asking is because my fiancé lives in Jersey and he needs to fly off the island to go to London for his embassy interview and I was just wondering if we'll be waiting a month or more to get it scheduled once he's able to go online and schedule it.  As far as the medical goes, I am assuming he can only go to certain doctors - I guess my only question for that part is if he'll be having to go to London for his Medical or if he'll still be able to do it in Jersey, but I don't expect you to know those answers :) I'm mostly just interested in the interview at embassy timeline
