There is something wrong with this if a person tries to do this with the B2.

@Sandro8, each visa has a purpose.  B2 is for visits, tourism and medical treatments  B1 is for business meetings and conferences.  F is for studying (vs F-1 to F-4 for family based immigration), etc

A generic "I want to experience music and see what happens" is not really a valid purpose.  American music can be appreciated anywhere in the world.. Going to a specific concert on a specific date/place is a valid reason.

It seems from your posts you want to study music in the US.  If that is the case, then apply for a student visa.  You would need to get accepted to a qualifying school first.

Yes. I made a really bad choice and mistake. I had all the good intentions but I made a wrong move on my exposure. Because yes I thought would be great to be a musician in US, but I never been there so I'll never know if I like to stay there or not. Also wasn't not sure that I could have found someone to play with and work. Everything was so unsure. So I thought that best thing was going there for much time as I can and see what happen and If I like the place etc. But there was no reason to apply for B2 I understand this clearly. I should ed have applied for Esta before. But now it what it is and I have to move on. My intentions are pure, I'm an artist I want to give a message playing my music. I know this sounds kinda hipster. But it's the way I am. Thank you for Sharing your thoughts

As far as working in the US is concerned the person you need to speak to is your Agent

You were rightly denied, because your intention was NOT just for a vacation, which is a requirement of both ESTA and B visas.

I think you are watching too much movies, sorry if this sounds a little bit harsh.

There is no such thing that came here and see if you like and stay. One part that cute movies does not show is the immigration part. And this my friend, is a horror movie.

Where are you from?

If music is your passion do not this stop you. The US is not the only place in the world that one can be discovered or have the best opportunities. You can be the best in any place.

I think it was a plot line in Eastenders and certainly The Office. But this was years ago.

Depending which ESTA country OP is from, he potentially could play DV lottery and try his immigration luck that way come October/November 2023.
