For anyone who has reached the point of scheduling their Interview Appointment with the US Consulate, I have a question about their confirmation email.
The email I received from lagosIV@state.gov says: "The U.S. Consulate General in Lagos is looking forward to your upcoming Immigrant Visa interview scheduled for 11th July 2023 at 06:30am." etc

 

Below the "Medical Report" section it says:
"We have attached a contact sheet to this email, which you must fill with your personal details and your US contact/Petitioner’s name. You must bring it to the interview." etc

 

Then it lists all the documents that must be brought to the interview. The first in the list says "Contact sheet"

Does anyone know what this Contact sheet is? Or has someone else's email included such a file?
The only 3 files attached to the email are:
IMBRA - New.PDF
K1 Packet April,2023.PDF
Medical Examination Instructions April,2023.doc (1).PDF

I reached out to the embassy asking for the contact sheet last week and they replied with sending me the appointment confirmation email. We are planning to bring that email as the first document and hope it is sufficient. My guess is that the contact sheet requirement is just outdated language in the form email.

After such a long time and finally reaching interview to get administrative processing for additional financial support when everything was submitted correctly and i am well above the FPL All because my partner was asked if i have another job and his response was my hobby in candle making which is not lucrative. I am really unsure what to even make of this process anymore. So the visa status says refused. Heartbreaking for sure.

Yes it was sent but I can't imagine how that little tiny bit of record could help. But it was sent. So not sure what else to send in terms of financial support besides the tax, bank statement and letter from my hob stating the annual salary. Now who knows how long the turn around time will be. I rea dminimum 5 weeks to a year 😢
