Good day to you all, I hope to find clarification about the NVC notice I have received today regarding my wife's CR1 visa application.

-We have received an email from the NVC about our visa case becoming Documentarily Qualified, "NVC will work with the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General to schedule an interview appointment for you". As soon as I read this email, I logged in the CEAC website to look through the new messages. We had 3 different messages, the first one contained a Case FE Review note stating that "the case did not meet the minimum income requirement and a additional Affidavit of Support form a joint sponsor might be needed" but the next two messages (a minute apart) stating Documentarily qualified and all documents have been received and approved. My question is, do I still need to move forward with the joint affidavit of support even though we are documentarily qualified?. I am just confused with the messages and I don't want to miss anything.

-I have submitted all my current paystubs and my offer letter for proof. They asked for my 2021 W2 form back in November 2022,  but I started my job in October 2021, so It's not enough time to accumulate minimum income in that time frame. I am still working in the same job and definitely meeting the minimum income requirement.

Thank you. Any input will be greatly appreciated.

If you are confident your qualify financially, ignore the message.  Usually this is because the total income line of your most recent tax return does not meet the minimum.  If your current income from employment or that combined with your documented liquid assets puts you comfortably over the requirement, you're good to go.  Ultimately whether you should ignore the message or not depends on information you have not provided here.
