05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

I don't have a problem with drag performance, but some people do. 

So now this opens up an entirely new avenue.  Aren't drag queens today a protected class immune from criticism?

I always thought Monty Python went back a very long way in the English Theater when Ladies were not allowed on stage, of course Python and most comedy of the era would be cancelled now. I forget the name of the show now, very popular in the UK and aired after I left and heard one of the main characters say they could not do that now.

 

From what I have seen Family Friendly Drag Shows are something very different. 

 

The George situation I am sure has a long way to go especially if more delicacies keep coming.

Python did have regular comediennes in the cast in addition to the men in drag. 
 

The go fund me story has all the markings of a hoax. 

So much attention on Santos. People must want to date him.

I was somewhat over simply trying to explain where this style of humour came from. It is not just Python.

 

The individual elements of Santos are not that unusual, the combination is, he just took it to 11.

This reminds me when a coworker changed some slow software and said: “it feels faster”.

 

It “feels” like Santos lies more but no one has measured it. 

 

The SANTOS Act in its finished product will allow us to concretely eject members of Congress who lied, and I urge its passing.

At some point, reporters may be able to discover how Mr. Santos obtained US citizenship, assuming that he is a USC.  It will be interesting to see how things may play out if he is found guilty of a campaign finance crime and/or if he lied on any immigration or naturalization forms, which seems likely given his sociopathic lying tendency.  Does anyone know if he came to the US on a tourist visa and then married a US citizen to obtain US citizenship?  At some point, his ex-wife may speak to the press.  My Brazilian husband is following the news stories in Brazil about the fraud charges that he ran away from a few years ago.  It's possible that he could have his US citizenship revoked and be deported.
