I filed! January 17 is my filing date. Checking case status it shows 16 months 😬

I am very concerned about this due to my criminal history but I'm hoping and praying that with the amount of time since the incident and collecting character references as well as having a family I will be ok.

Welcome to the thread!

Test piece???? I'm  sorry did not catch that?????? Do you mean the civics test and English comprehension test for the N-400? If so there are numerous study guides  and apps online you just got to find the one you like.

I couldn't remember if it was civics test or not, hence the poorly worded question 😆

Ahh ok yeah as I said many apps  and practice test online. USCIS even has a sample of questions on the N-400 portion of their website.

Filed: Citizen (apr) Country: Australia

Hello all! We are hoping to get my husband's N-400 filed this month. We've been eligible to do so since 10/31/22 but were in no rush so figured we'd get through the holidays first.

I've got a question about bank statements. I just downloaded all the bank statements available in the online account, but there is only 1 year (February 2022 through January 2023). We filed ROC (still pending) in Nov. 2021, so previously provided all statements through October 2021. So that leaves a 3 month gap with no bank statements.

Should I try to get the 3 missing statements, or is it not a big deal?

EDIT: Please disregard. I was able to download the 3 statements I was missing from the banking app 😂 Happy to be joining the thread!

I had the same thing, and a few days later my I-751 status changed to it was being transferred to another center, and then a day later i was notified that the fingerprints were applied. Nothing after that.

Question, if you are applying for citizenship but still waiting for your i751 to be processed, what happens if the N400 takes a long time, will they send another letter extending your gc past the initial 24 months extension?

You will get an extension letter when you apply for the I-751 and when you apply for the N-400 you will also get an extension letter.
