Thank you both. So I do have an online account.

ETA: at filing 21 months :(.  ETA as of 2/3: 10 months.

Bio reuse: NO :(. Appointment received on 2/3 for Biometrics on 2/22.

Finished biometrics today 2/22 in Tukwila. Took maybe 30 to 45 mins.

Case status changed even as I was driving back home “Case is being actively reviewed by USCIS”

ETA still says 10 months.

Completed biometrics in Milwaukee this morning. Less than 10 minutes and even went a few hours early.
Got a text message as soon as I got back to the car that the case has been updated. Processing time went up from 7 months to 8 months 🤷‍♀️

Still no change on 751. No transfer and still says no updates available at this time.

My husband just had his biometrics appointment. He was in and out in less than 15 minutes, and we also got the update "Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS" right after.

Before that it was "We scheduled you for a biometrics appointment".

As a side note, someone at the ASC where my husband did his bio appointment gave him this outdated notice that says "Naturalization applicants with a filing date of Dec. 1, 2020 or later are required to take the 2020 version of the civics test."

I immediately started laughing when he showed it to me. Just another classic example of USCIS' typical modus operandi of "the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing".

For anyone reading this, this isn't true. They are using the 2008 version of the test, as evidenced by the experiences shared here on VJ by those who have had their naturalization interview and by USCIS itself:

Civics Test

2008 Version
The 2008 version of the civics test is an oral test, and the USCIS officer will ask you up to 10 questions from the list of 100 civics test questions. You must answer 6 questions correctly to pass the 2008 version of the civics test.

  • Applicants who filed their Form N-400 before December 1, 2020, will continue to take the 2008 civics test at initial exam, re-exam, or N-336 hearing.
  • Applicants who file their Form N-400 on or after March 1, 2021 will also take the 2008 civics test at initial exam, re-exam, or N-336 hearing.

The even more ridiculous thing is I'm pretty sure the 2020 version was never "required" and it lasted a very short amount of time (5 months maybe?). During that period of time, people had the option of taking either version.

It's baffling that my local ASC is giving out information that is a) years out of date, and b) not accurate even when it wasn't out of date.

8 days untill my interview and my I751 never updated. I'm still hoping for the combo interview so my husband will be going with me and I will be bringing some more evidence to cover the time period from submitting I751 to interview.

( couple of  statements from 2 joint bank accounts, 401k showing me as beneficiary, car insurance with both of our names, cell phone plan with both of us on it, some recipts for the trips and some photos from the trips and with friends and family, and also our 2022 taxes). Also I will be bringing everything stated on the N400 interview letter. Am I missing something? I've been thinking and I think that's all I can provide for the period of submitting I751 to now.

How is the civics studying going? I looked at your timeline, great response from USCIS from when you filed to interview date.

I wish I could help with what to bring, I am wondering the same and every time I've asked elsewhere I get really unhelpful responses.

Same here, i751 not only it hasn't updated but it still seems to have issues in appearing on line.

In all honesty I am just bringing some updated stuff as evidence, the bank statements since filing i751, updated health insurance and the tickets from a trip to Greece with the wife last summer.

I don't think you are missing anything.

It's been going good, I think I know most of the questions by heart at this point so I feel ready. And yes, my FO has been super fast, I definitely wasn't expecting it to happen so soon but I'm glad it did. Now just hoping for the combo interview🤞

As for what to bring, I really think that there is only so much we can gather for the time frame given so anything to update what we already sent would suffice. I'll let you know was what I'm bringing enough.

Try to check here: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/mycasestatus.do

I hope I put that in correctly. My status also doesn't appear on the other website so I've been checking here.

I think you're good with what you have to bring, I don't think they will focus too much on that updated evidence but you never know with USCIS. Best of luck on the interview!

Is the location of your biometrics appointment, also where your application is being processed? Ie if my biometrics is in city x, then the office processing it is also city x?
