Does anyone know how to get someone on the phone at USCIS?

I had my combo interview May 4, and was approved for citizenship, however the office had not yet received my I751 packet from the office that it was sent too. The officer at my interview made a request while I was there for the application to be sent to him, and said it should take about 2 weeks.

I have not heard anything since, and my status still shows "interview scheduled".... :(

Ok...my i751 was already at NBC since i filed in jan 2022. My n400 interview is next week. I called uscis customer care to ask them if they any info on my i751 if it already transferred to my local field office. They said YES. To make sure, they are not saying stuff randomly, I asked them the date when did it get transferred. They provided me the date. You can also call uscis and confirm it when u r near ur interview date. Good luck

how did you get a hold of someone on USCIS? What number did you call? I already had my interview (combo) and my 751 packet still isnt at the field office - I am recommended for citizenship but can't get officially approved until they have my 751 packet.

Got Certificate of citizenship. Finally, the journey is over :)

Don't  forget to go to the SS office to update your records, before you apply for your passport if you are not in a hurry to travel!

4/19: Status changed to to Interview Scheduled on 6/8.

I was beginning to wonder if January was really hot :D

The interview went well and I was approved for a special oath ceremony on 7/4 (Seattle).

Appointment at 2pm.

Called into interview room at 3:45pm (yep!)

Questions I remember: Who was the President during WW I, What is the name of the national anthem, Why are there 50 stars, and three more which I don't remember. Some easy reading and writing.

Spent next 5 mins going through answers in my application. Nothing out of the ordinary. Updated the number of marriages for my spouse from 0 to 1 (basically fixed the error).

Spent next 5 mins convincing me to take the Oath on 7/4 vs. later (I told them I might be travelling over the long weekend so will prefer a different date). Ended up agreeing to 7/4.

That's all folks!

can you do that even before the oath ceremony? how do you do that?

You can schedule a Passport appointment at any time.  Just google passport acceptance locations for your local area, then schedule the appointment for any time after the oath ceremony. .  I would start looking as soon as you get notification that the oath has been scheduled.  Here in the DFW area, they are usually booked weeks out.

My GC condition removal packet still has not arrived at Orlando, after multiple attempts to get ahold  of an agent, she couldn't see where my packet was and so she put in a request to escalate to a Tier 2 operator - which now takes up to 30 days to receive a call from them...

So I passed my interviews, but I am still waiting for my 751 packet to arrive in Orlando for them to be able to approve my N400 / I751 and schedule my oath ceremony.

:(

Just received a phone call from a very friendly USCIS officer saying my oath ceremony was scheduled for this Friday and they don't have time to mail the letter. But it's uploaded on my online account. That was very nice of them.

Imagine that! Very good!
