Can all of you see your case status now? I still can't see anything other than the N400.

Mine (751) isn’t updated either. Still showing only fingerprints from March 2022 and no updates can be provided.

Have to report for biometrics for 400 on the 23rd.

Good morning y’all!

So, following advice received here by a seasoned member I took a walk in at the Columbus Application Support Center in Westerville Columbus this morning. Was parked before they opened. They were giving numbers to people with appointments, but when they were calling the numbers since no one showed up they started taking people without appointment. Voila!!! Was in and out in five minutes. Super friendly and professional staff, I left them positive feedback on a questionnaire they gave me at the end.

My case status updated to “actively reviewed” almost immediately.

Completed biometrics?

Yep, completed biometrics... In less than five minutes. They were wanting me to drive for an appointment to a center three hours away, but I found one within 20 minute drive from home... And the agents were the nicest.

So the reason why I went to an early biometrics:

They sent me the biometrics appointment letter on Friday. I got super excited about it, only to realize that they sent me to a center three hours away! We moved from WV to Columbus, and sure enough there are ASCs in Columbus, so I was confused. My original appointment was on the 23rd. I Googled and found an application service center 20 minutes away from home, so I went in there this morning before they opened. I just wanted to try and see whether they'd take me in, in case they said no and then I would still have time to go to my appointment on the 23rd. Sure enough, they told me that they would accomodate first the people that had an appointment, which is fair. They gave numbers to people with an appointment. They started calling numbers but nobody showed up, so a very nice officer said "Ok, I'm taking anyone!!" so I jumped in.

I did ask him why they sent me to another State, and he said that they were closed during the pandemic and so USCIS kept sending people to WV... But now they're back and fully operational again.

My status changed to "actively being reviewed" less than five minutes after I left!

I'm glad it worked out! Traveling that far just for biometrics would be a hassle.

Our ASC is just ~20 minutes from where we live, so we're just going to wait until the scheduled time/date.

Yeah I just wanted to try it early in case they rejected me, then I could always still go to the original date.

LOL - I feel this not because I had to travel out of state, but I did have to drive half way around Houston to get to my appointment.  Anyone who's been to Houston knows you drive for an hour in Houston to get to Houston!  45 minutes one way and like $5 in tolls to do 5 minutes of work and repeat 45 minutes of driving and $5 in tolls.  Apparently our interview center and where they typically do the oath ceremonies is closer to where I live, so I guess that's the silver lining for me.

Haha, I know exactly what you mean! That's good that your field office is closer though.

Our field office is about an hour and a half drive, but that's not too bad. We'll be happy to go there one more time to get this all done!

Did ur i751 already get transferred where u n400 is...I mean did u already get transfer notice after you apply N400? Or u just directly got n400 interview notice without any update on i751?

I was not referring to you, you've been a VJ member here for quite awhile, your timeline is filled out and you did not just join VJ  an hour ago as that OP. I'm just saying we have seen these one posters before. Then they vanish!
