That sucks, but at least you know you paid for something & are getting it, unlike the re-use but still paid for biometrics.

Has anyone else that has an active I-751 had a transfer of either their N-400 or their I-751 to a different location?

If you do not have an account, then you will need to create one. If you already have one (I think you would if you file online), then log into that account, check under documents tab to see the NOA and bio-reuse (if they do) mailers.

 

If you do not have account, you will get them (NOA and Bio) by USPS and you will get them in 7 - 10 days, or 5+ business days. You should register the account online so you can check to make sure you get interview scheduled letter online, before you get it via usps.

 

since your daughter is under 18, you DO NOT apply for n-400. Wait for either you or your wife gets naturalized certificate, then apply for her passport/passport card and then claim the citizenship with N-600 ( I believe, some one correct me if I am wrong). She inherits the citizenship from the parents, provided she is under 18 and some other rules.

So, how long roughly, are filers seeing interview dates set?

Also, since they reverted back to the 2008 civics question set, how are people studying (printed entire set as well as used online USCIS tests).

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

That's as I understand it and am banking on to get Kid1 and Kid2 their citizenship.

I haven't gotten notice yet about biometrics. I'm curious if they will reuse them or not. It seems like it varies a lot for N-400.

October 17, 2019 AOS receipt date 

December 09, 2019: Biometric appointment

January 15, 2020 RFE received

January 30, 2020  RFE response sent

Feb 7: EAD approved and interview scheduled

March 18, 2020 Interview cancelled

April 14th 2020: RFE received

April 29, 2020 Approved without interview

May 1, 2020 Card in hand

February 1, 2022 package sent

March 28, 2022 Fingerprints reused
