difficulties with passport name change

Good morning all, when we got married last year my wife change all the documents, drivers license, spouse military id, health insurance and life insurance to her marriage name. We sent all the documents with her new last name. The problem we currently have is when she tried to change her last name on her passport, they did not change her last name, they just added the marry name to her maiden name. so her passport has two last name and her rest of documents have one. Will that cause an issue in the near future thanks.

She needs to book international flight and cruse reservations in her passport name and carry an original marriage certificate

When she gets a U.S. passport she can book in her real name except when traveling to her country of origin.  Or she can renounce that citizenship if her country allows that.

Wifey’s passport was like that since 2007 (married last name tacked on) We just book first/last name, never had a problem.

Who's the immigrant? You or your wife?

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.
