Applicant & Petitioner New Address Since Submitting - How to Inform NVC?

Hi all,

My wife (US sponsor) and I (foreign applicant) recently received notice that I have been given my interview date (yay!). At the time we submitted our application to NVC, my wife and I were both living together at the same address in Canada. However, since that time, my wife has moved to the USA and I have moved in with my parents, meaning that neither of us currently live at the address listed on application. I did not want to update anything on the NVC website until I received my interview notice, as I had read that it might cause me to go back to the end of the line (unsure if that is true or not), so all info on file is therefore the exact same as when we initially submitted.

My questions are:

1. What is the best way to notify NVC that my wife is now living in the USA? (and no longer at the address listed on our application)

2. What is the best way to notify NVC that I (the applicant) am currently living at a new address that is different than the one listed as current on my application?

Thank you very much and any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

Since you already have your interview date, your case has been transferred to the consulate, so no need to notify NVC.  Just update your DS-260 information at the consulate on the day of your interview.  Volunteer the new addresses in case you are not asked, especially your intended address in the US as that's where your SSN and GC will be shipped to.

Thank you Chancy - you're a legend on here!

When you say update your DS-260 on the day of the interview, does that mean I should go on the CEAC website and print out a new DS-260 confirmation page with updated details, or just tell the representative at the consulate about my new address?

My intended address in the USA thankfully is the same address my wife currently lives at, so I'm assuming I can leave that the way it is too, correct?

Thank you once again :)

Just tell them the new addresses.
