Hello everybody,

So am the petitioner, and my I-130 as been approved recently. I received the NVC email stating that my wife ( the beneficiary) should create an account at CEAC to upload her documents.  i want to ask if it is allowed for me the petitioner to create this account for her and fill, upload her documents? with her language barrier am worried about mistakes. Also should should submit the affidavit of support I864 form and payment at the same account?

Thanks for any recommendation.

That is not a problem. All documentation and fees will be submitted through that site. But ensure she knows, understands  and checks everything before you submit .. especially the DS 260.. as she is required to swear and attest to the truthfulness of all the information on her documents

Lil Bear, Thank you very much.

Congrats on getting approved. Neither of you creates the account — the NVC creates it for you and sends you the login info in an email. Wait for this email to come from them.

Exactly. Now you can pay the fees, wait for them to go through, fill in the DS-260 on behalf of your wife, and upload all the documents.

Make sure the civil documents are correct based on the country of issuance of each document here: nvc.state.gov/find

I don’t understand the purpose of the receipt. You wait (give it 3 business days) for text under “IV application” to turn into a clickable blue “START NOW” and the same for “Financial evidence”. When the payment is processed in a few business days, you are able to click START NOW.

Many thanks for the support, you explained it nicely. Have a wonderful holiday and will keep updating my journey:)
