CR1 Combine Joint Sponsors in Household

Due to Covid-19 the service industry was greatly affected and I was laid off. This forced me to move back home. Currently at home there's 4 members. Both my parents, my brother and me. Three of those members have jobs but neither one of us qualify for full sponsorship because we've been traveling to our home country for extended periods of time. Is it possible to combine the income of three of us that live in the same household? The house is owned in full by my dad can that be considered?

Yes.  Become an A-Student of the I-864 instructions and you'll understand how.  Equity in the primary residence would be ignored, so just leave it out.

Also familiarize yourself with the I864A for members of the household that will be combining their income.

No. You may use only one Joint Sponsor per immigrant.

Does your current income ( pay check from current job ) qualify? If not , try getting a second job to strengthen your current income .

Also look for  another Joint Sponsor with qualifying income..especially since you have “ relied “ in some form for support from on your current household members, and that could be a negative.

Because of the new Public Charge Rule , it will be a bit before we learn how tough Consulates will be .

There's nothing in your link stating a new public charge rule. Would mind linking me where the new rule is.

While it is true one can have only one joint sponsor, the OP can be the "sponsor" and combine income with his family members in the same household using one I-864 for himself and an I-864a from each of the household members combining income.  I referred him to the instructions to learn how to do it.

It's says on top of the page that those new rules won't apply until further notice.

Some of the confusion in this thread stems from your use of the term "joint sponsors".  Your qualifying household members will not be joint sponsors.  You will simply combine income with them.  They will not be "joint sponsors".  They will be "household members".  You'll see how to do this when you study the instructions.
