bona fide evidence at the U.S Embassy interview

Hello everyone; below is my current situation, and I would appreciate your thoughts and feedback. Thank you in advance.

I am a U.S. citizen filing for my spouse. USCIS and NVC have approved the petition. One week ago, NVC sent us the interview letter and forwarded the petition to the U.S. embassy. Now my spouse is preparing for the interview. It took about 15 months to get through USCIS and NVC, and during this time, we have gathered more evidence of bona fide marriage, such as more meaningful pictures from different events with friends and family, bought the property under our name, had a vacation together, and similar evidence that happened after our case was approved. We have documented these events, and now I am wondering if it is possible to add this evidence on the ceac website before the interview or bring it straight to the interview and bring it up at the right time? One of my friends suggested that ceac portal won't allow me to upload documents since the petition has been forwarded to the U.S. embassy. I would appreciate people who went through this process and added more bona fide evidence later or just have general knowledge.

You can always do this, typically by handing it to the Locally Engaged Staff member (a native of the beneficiary's country who works at the consulate) when you're first called up.  Then, mention it to the consul first thing, or if and when appropriate.

Thank you. I'm from Azerbaijan and we don't have a consulate so it is assigned to Georgia/Tbilisi Consulate

You're very smart for thinking to supply extra evidence of your bona fide relationship for the interview.

Others here can comment on whether it's possible to upload it on the CEAC site.

 

Because the consular phase is often underestimated, go to the "Office Reviews" tab atop any VJ page, and read the reviews for Tbilisi.  In the country portal for Georgia, look for members who have recently interviewed there, and find their consular reviews or their recent forum posts to look for helpful insights.

 

Let us know what you find, and of course keep us apprised of what happens in the interview.

Do both.  I uploaded new bona fide relationship evidence to CEAC portal the day before my spouse visa interview.  I had no trouble uploading to the additional documents section under civil documents.  Just make sure the documents are within the 2MB file size limit.  Even with PDF compression, I had to break up the evidence into 4 files for upload.

As @Chancy stated do both. Post pandemic they will not take /consider any new/additional documents unless first uploaded..
