Hello everyone and thank you in advanced for your answers.

I feel so nervous because I forgot to include the I-864 form in my original CR-1 package when I submitted it.

can someone tell me what to do? I got the NOA1 on 09/30/22 but then that's it.

The I-864 is not needed or even looked at until the NVC stage of the process.

No, you should not send it as it is not on the list of documents to submit with I-130. You submit it after your petition gets to NVC

Thank you so very much powerpuff. I really really appreciate your help and time you took to response.

Best bet is to follow the instructions to the letter, rather than sending unsolicited items.

So, your question indicates you did not study the I-130 instructions before filing.  Become an A-Student now, of the I-864 instructions.  Doing so will be critical to your ultimate success.  Hopefully, you submitted everything required with the I-130 initially.

I did study the instructions for submitting the I-130. In fact, I went to this website and did my research… but today for some reason I went on the USCIS trying to find information on timelines and clicked on documents needed by mistake and read the 1-864 is needed. Then I became confused and started panicking thinking I mistakenly didn’t send this document with my original submission. But thank you and yes I am currently doing research now on the form I-864 🙏🏻

They probably look at it but you’ll have to submit a current / updated one after the petition is approved.  It isn’t needed at the petition stage.
