I-539 rejected saying the payment amount is incorrect

Hi,

My family's I-539 got rejected mentioning the payment amount is incorrect or has not been provided. I am quite sure the payment is correct. I used the fee calculation tool, and it was straightforward.

However, I feel I might have forgotten to add a signature to the G-1450 form for credit card authorization. Could that be the reason? Is this a generic error message?

So you did not sign on any of the applications or just one of them?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

I didn't sign the G-1450 form for credit card authorization. All the other forms were signed.

That would do it

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Kindly let us know the exact amount for the I-539 main applicant with two co-applicants. While we are doing this in the Fee calculator it shows 370$ for 3 of us. But in the rejection note, they are mentioning the incorrect amount. Is there any other way to get the exact amount?

My I-94 expired on Dec 4. Firstly I submitted my I-539 application before the expiration date. We have got a rejection note mentioning payment is incorrect. So I again submitted the application today but the I-94 expired. Is there any legal issue with staying in US?

I can see that being an issue

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
