80% of cases in my local field office ( Atlanta ) are adjudicated within 32.5 months. Looking at the USCIS website the field offices with the longest wait times are triple that of the faster ones !

I read somewhere that USCIS can move the interview to a field office with lower backlog as they see fit in order to lessen the burden etc

Just wondered how often it happens ?

To be honest, if it changed a 30.5 month wait to a 12 month wait, I would gladly fly to any field office in the country !!

In 3 years I’ve seen it happen less than 5 times but each time it was reported that USCIS moved the case to a new state requiring the beneficiary to arrive the night before and over night.

As you can guess, not all beneficiaries appreciate this.

Personally we would go to any state or territory if it would accelerate our cases.  But we have the means to do so.

I wish one could self identity this flexibility in advance.

and then we were scheduled interview in Nashville (also 2 hours away)

but atlanta site back then had a long wait time too but the whole time we waited from applying to oath was 11 months
