Question about joint tax filing evidence for RoC

Hi there!

I am busy printing off tax returns and tax return transcripts for each of the years my husband has filed jointly for us. I made it to this year and I am coming across a very hefty 2021 tax return which is something enormous, like 162 pages long?!

I have printed off a transcript for this already, which was about 6 pages.

For 2019 and 2020, I printed off tax return transcripts and tax returns (Form 1040) for each.

Is there any way I can get away with not printing off the tax return page (162 pages!) and just provide the transcript for 2021? Or would the fact that consistency is ruined be a problem? The transcript is still an official document, so I don't see why it would be bad to just include that piece for 2021.

Thanks for any advice!

For some reason on the trascripts they only print out a portion of our names - I'm guessing this is normal procedure?

I thought I would include the tax returns because they have our full names on them, too.

Is it OK to have them for 2019 and 2020 and just the transcript for 2021 because the actual tax return form is too long?

Or should I just send the transcripts for each year and not bother with any of the tax returns?

I just want to know if it's OK to have tax returns for some years and not for the last. I have transcripts for all years. Can anyone confirm if that is OK - yes or no?

Thanks!

No, I suggest sending:

- Only transcripts for all 3 years OR

- Only full tax returns for all 3 years OR

- Full tax returns and tax transcripts for all 3 years

Do not do transcripts for some years and returns for other. USCIS can send RFE for that.
