please help - parents embassy interview (merged)

so on the Turkey embassy courier website, it shows under status of fathers case Check DS-260 Status, i go there and it sends me to the Ceac trac website, i checked and it says refused but underneath it says follow officers instructions etc also mentions admin processing. 

 

is there anything we need to do?

 

i emailed them got no response, the case last updated date is being updated here and there though

Did your father get a 221g after the interview?  If yes, what does it say?

Refused is the term they post till the petition is approved or denied

father is going thru the additional security checks at this point

and if all they asked for was his passport on December 22,  then just wait 

any other documents needed ,  send them

yes they asked for my original BC which i sent, they havent confirmed receipt of it but they did for my mom and then requested her to mail in passport and hers is now issued. my dad still says refused.

so it still saying refused actually means admin processing, not sure why they havent changed the status yet to AP.

 

Also, is it a good sign i see his last updated date changing to today and what not?
