Can anyone guide me where to add the  child support amount in I864 . I received Child support ,and i have court order. Can I used it as supplement income.

Thank you

My answer would be "no", you cannot use child support as supplemental income.

The underling purpose of child support payments is to ensure children receive the same proportion of parental income, and thereby enjoy the standard of living they would have experienced had their parents remained together. It's intended to benefit the child,  NOT the sponsored immigrant.

Just my thoughts. Whether you really can or not, I don't know. Hopefully, your normal income is sufficient. Otherwise, I suggest getting a joint sponsor.

Legally you can.  Just add it to your income and attach the court order.

Warning that Family courts (at least here) would not look favorably on this.  An engaged father could really upset things with your custody.  I know I would, 100% certain.  I had custody switched for less.

This is legal from an immigration standpoint but not advised for reasons listed above.
