Delay of Getting Visa and Passport Back

Dear all, 

 

I had my CR1 visa interview at Frankfurt on 22 November 2022. But, my visa status is still "Refused". Can anyone suggest me how long should I wait before I contact the consulate?

 

P.S. The visa officer approved my visa even though my medical was pending for a vaccine requirement from the doctor. The doctor sent the medical after the interview. The VO said that the visa will be available in one week or first week of December.

Wait for it. What's the rush? Finalize other things.

 

And it's Christmas season, so don't expect anything to be done quickly.

Normal processing when something is left to review before going in the visa production queue is about a month.  Nothing to do but wait.

Thank you very much. I am waiting for it. I was just curious since I am living in Germany as a student and I have to look at my financial issues as well. 😁
