Hello there.

asking to file i864 and i864a

I need to add to my current income, the taxable income + the non taxable VA disability compensation benefit. We r not 100% but 90% disability.

1. Is possible to add that kind of income in part6. item 7 and

2. in the part of tax returns, do i have to put the year and the taxable income without the non taxable income? how is the proper way. thx you very much.

I m sponsoring my dad IR5 and i m a USC.

You can add non-taxable income to current annual income, but you have to list the amount your 1040 shows for each tax year.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Thank you for these tips! I submitted my full 2021 US tax return, which is part of the reason why I'm confused that they denied my sponsorship. But hopefully it's just a case of them not looking into the details and wanting more information from me. Most of my income is reflected in my Spanish bank accounts and tax returns in more detail, so I will make sure to have those translated and bring them to my husband's interview.

I greatly appreciate your input and time!

Wish you can share ur experience at the interview, i m preparing my AOS for my dad and i have mix income n some non taxable i need to explain good. If you can update us how you did to fix ur issue that ll be fully appreciated. what documents you finally show to them?. Thx you very much!

Sir, if your VA disability is not P&T, NVC may look at the pay as temporary.

It will be considered CURRENT income.
