Hi everybody I need some help, my wife(I am a US Citizen) came to the US on a esta, we got married in march and the immigration lawyer filed  I-130
I-765  I-485 on the 18 of April when do you expect the work permit to come? and even more importantly when will she be able to travel outside the USA? She did biometrics and July and she just did her immigration physical(dont know if it makes a difference)

Please fill out your timeline.

 

Did you guys submit the I-131? That's the form to get a travel document, she won't be able to travel internationally without the document until she receives her green card, which could be another 12 months.

11/04/21 - Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS

02/14/22 - I-765 Expedite requested

02/24/22 - Expedite evidence sent

03/23/22 - EAD arrived in mail

05/06/22 - AP approved (expedited)

01/03/23 - RFE for I-693, case transferred to Boise, ID office

01/17/23 - I-485 approved

01/25/23 - GC arrived in mail

11/12/24 - Sent I-751 packet via USPS

I think so, It was filed by a "good lawyer" so I hope so lol, how long does Advanced parole take?

Timeline

EAD (I-765):  Up to 8 months.  Several have reported getting it earlier.

 

AP:  About 8 months, provided your filed the I-131

 

GC (I-485):  12-23 months.  I have a suspicion USCIS would like to let it go beyond 24 months but gets it done within 23 months just to make couples go through ROC.

 

Hopefully your lawyer submitted the I-864 and I-131 along with the rest.

Timelines are all over the place but AP seems to be around 8 months, have seen them over a year.

Will fill out her timeline now, she told me he filed the I-131, hopefully that will be here soon, fingers crossed!

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

I am not a lawyer, and i filed the same forms for a friends, she came in a b2 visa ( tourist visa), i even filed a i-601 waiver for vaccination waiver, i sent the package on june 2022 and she had fingrprints taken on july, we were waiting that her case was going be long because the waiver but for our surprise, her case was approved on august 26, 2022. Just 2 months and without interview. My friend lives in Indiana

Aos interview July 2018

Work permit September2018

Aos approved July 24, 2019.

Roc April 27, 2021

Biometric reused june 28, 2021

N-400 online April 27, 2022 base on 3 years rule, biometric reused.

N-400 interview on December 12, 2022 combo interview i-751. Approved.

January 11, 2023 oath ceremony, Indianapolis. After that done with uscis😂🤭🤫

I took my oath ceremony in Indianapolis, it was a nice ceremony, where people from 35 coutry become american citizen.

01/11/2023 officially done with uscis :)

January 13, 2023 apply for us passport.( regular service).

March 11, 2023 passport in hand
