Hi all, I am a U.S. citizen living in London with my husband who  is British. We were looking into moving to America as we have no family, and I miss my family.
Is it possible to use dcf job related exceptional circumstances instead of the standard 2-year process?
I have a family member who owns their own business and is willing to hire me and give me a letter of employment to start work in March 2023.
Would the embassy accept my circumstances and letter of employment for dcf if they know it's family hiring me?

Generally they will accept it as long as it is Bona Fide.  Fill our the request on the contact form for the consulate and start the process.

That’s great thank you! Does that generally mean I should have the employment contract as well as my employment letter to show proof?

You don’t think they will deny us based on a job offer from a family member? I don’t want it to ruin our chances for him to immigrate to the states.

Just make sure you have the formal offer in writing, and the job offer has to be genuine, obviously.  London seems quite generous in accepting DCF requests.  Even if London doesn't accept, it won't ruin your husband's immigration to go through the normal process filing through USCIS.

Thank you! I think that was scaring me off from the dcf choice. One last question, do you think I should tell them it’s a family members business or should I keep that information to myself. It’s a small business but they started it about a year ago.

No need to volunteer that information unless the consulate asks.  Have the company issue you a formal offer like they would any other prospective employee.  Make sure the offer has the target start date of your employment in the US.

If it's a fake job offer, that is a risky choice.
