Oath scheduled for July 27th. Like in months from now. Can I make it earlier or do anything about it?

No, rescheduling will only provide a later appointment, not an earlier one.

2 months will fly by.

# Interview was on June 09, 2023 @10:30 AM - officer called me at 10:28 AM questions were pretty easy and straight forward ... Officer said that we submitted so much of joint bona fide marriage evidence. and he didn't want to see anymore new docs I brought with me.he said what I see on screen is more than enough. Officer surprised my English was excellent for being in the US just few years. asked me if I studied English in my born country. Also, officer surprised I have zero citations or traffic ticket ... Officer said 'Wow! you deserve to be American that what America about - I recommended your application for approval - Congratulation! wait to receive your Oath letter in the mail you will get it in the next 30 days!

Hi everyone,

I finished my interview this morning in federal plaza (NYC Queens applicant). Applied, Dec 31 2022; May 02 got notification for my interview which was today June 13.

Pretty straightforward going in, checked in and made me wait. Since my I-751 was pending, I also took my husband with me. No issues getting him to the waiting room. When the Officer called my name, I asked if I need to bring my husband too, he said "not needed, but if you want to he can sit and watch". So he came in too.

Before the interview started the officer told me that my I-751 is pending and my file is already in Queens Office; however, he is not authorized to work on I-751 so someone else will do the adjudication. He asked 6 civics question (name of VP, name of the president's party, why there are 50 stars in the flag, who do senators represent, and a few others which I forgot). Then asked some Yes/No questions. I had indicated "no" on the have you ever been cited question, but I had traffic tickets. I told him that and he said it was okay as long as I paid the fine. I told him i had indeed and he said okay; didn't check for proof or anything. At the end, he gave me the N-652 saying I passed the exam, and my application has been recommended for approval. However, he told me the Oath will only be scheduled once someone in the Queens office approves my I-751.

I had taken a lot of stuff with me, such as tax docs, latest mortgage statements etc, he wanted nothing. The interview lasted for less than an 15 minutes.

Has anyone had similar experience, and if so, how long should I expect before my oath is scheduled?

Applied for N-400 on Dec 31 2022 as well .
I -751 approved early April 2023 - 10 year green card already received.

had the N-400 interview on June 09 2023

status shows Oath Ceremony will be scheduled.
( under quality review ) I searched what quality review means . It says the interviewing officer not senior and it will need to be reviewed by senior officer for the final approval. On VJ same people get approved and scheduled after 5 days and some took a month or two .
fingers crossed .

How is it that so many people who applied Dec 2022 already got their citizenships and even took oath? I have not heard anything from USCIS ever since i filed and they said i won't need to redo the Bio.... it has been 6 months. Some of you got approved in a couple months ... Anyone from the Bay Area who got approved who filed online?
ugh... this is frustrating
