i read in forums in facebook they schedule it around 2 weeks after?  but if you have name change definitely there is no same day oath.. thats what i saw in a lawyer's youtube.. but if they will let me have same day oath (though i have a name change) even better!😁

Yeah, I was looking at the Phoenix timelines and it seems to be all over the place. The most recent updated entry had the oath a month later so maybe that was because of a name change. I'm not changing mine so hopefully they can schedule it fairly quickly. 😀

Let's hope! Then it'll be time to apply for a passport which should be interesting. I was looking for appointments just to see what was available and in the next two months I only found one available day. 🤔

I guess you could once you know when your oath ceremony is. Seems kind of crazy that there's such a wait but I guess we should worry about passing first. 🤣

Me too. The YouTube channel I mentioned that I've been watching has some interview videos. Obviously that's not exactly how they go but it gives you an idea of what happens at the interview.

I haven't seen anyone talk about that. I saw one recent review from January that said they do oath ceremonies on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

are the tuesdays and thursdays where they do oath ceremonies consistently? i would have to ask my husband to take that day off coz he wants to be with me during that day!

I found this and based on that it looks like they're every Friday: https://www.azd.uscourts.gov/naturalization-information

 

It would be great if that's true. Friday is usually a little slower at work so it would be easier for my husband and I to step away that day.
