Mistake on my N400

Hello,

So I have my interview next week and as I was reviewing my N-400 online I realized I made a mistake, and I was wondering how big of a deal it might be. On Part 10 Question 8: It asks how many times has your spouse been married and I put 0 instead of 1. (I am filing based on marriage.) I think I was tired when I filled it out and thought the question was asking how many times has my spouse been previously married, not how many time they've been married in total.

Also, my spouse is not able to attend the interview due to an important work obligation that day, but we did ROC years ago and from what I understand it's not necessary for them to attend after ROC. Will that hurt my case?

Thank you.

No it wont hurt your case.  Fix it at the interview.

They had been making us (USC spouses) wait out back behind the dumpsters with the homeless people for the last two years because of COVID.  We couldnt go in if we wanted to.  Not sure USC spouse presence is required but always a good idea to bring in all the “proof of current marriage” stuff that you probably filed with your application.

I made the exact same mistake lol. I just had my interview today, and I notified the officer about it. Don’t worry, you should be fine. Good luck!
