I'm confused with your DCF request vs your timeline.   Did you choose not to enter the US after getting a K1 Visa?  This may be causing an issue.

Also in order to request a DCF, the petitioner must have residency in the consulate's jurisdiction.  You won't be able to consulate "shop".

But since Dublin don’t offer DCF we can’t apply at a different consulate?

Again, I don't think you understand what Direct Consular Filing is about.

Btw, since all of the international USCIS offices closed, no consulate "offers" DCF.  They will entertain requests from resident USCs undergoing 'exceptional circumstances' to process the petition directly, on a case-by-case basis.

Your request was denied by your country's consulate, so you will have to file stateside through the lockbox.

No. You can only apply for DCF through the consulate that has jurisdiction for your country of residence . It is not a right to be able to access DCF. It is an opportunity that may be available but is not guaranteed. It is at the discretion of the consulate.

Got you! Thank you!

Exactly my husband is the USC and is a resident here and has an exceptional circumstance. But I understand now it’s because I applied to London embassy they obviously must only take UK residents. Thanks very much we are going to apply the normal way online 🙌🏼

Did you call or fill out the webform?   I would fill out the webform and give them a few weeks to respond.  Otherwise file stateside and then ask to escalate at every step of the process.

We did and they responded the next day saying they can’t accept our request. I’m assuming it’s because I’m from Ireland not UK.

You need to file where the Petitioner (and Beneficiary) both have residency.

I'm confused - did you two leave the US within 12 months of getting married on your K-1? Looks like you'll have to start over, or your husband could go for a work visa if the place that wants to hire him could guarantee two years of employment with them.  I wouldn't have expected the London consulate to help because you aren't in the UK, but also apparently they don't do them there anymore anyway for that type of visa.
