i-751 questions

Hello everyone. Im getting ready to file the i-751 ROC and I want to know how many years of joint bank statement I need to send? and please do u think this enogh evidence to send with my application? and do we need to send a divorce decree because I was divorced before. and my husband's name is not on the deed is that an issue? • Form G-1450 Authorization for Credit Card Transaction for $680 filing fee

• Cover letter

• Form G-1145 e-notification of application acceptance

• Completed I-751 form

• Copy of both sides of Permanent Resident Card

• Form 1-797C Reminder to file form I-751

• Photographs from various holidays, events, and outings together and with family and friends.

• Printouts from our Facebook posts and Whatsapp messages between myself and family.

• Copies of the joint tax statements for the previous two years (2020-2021)

• Schedule C” page in 2021 Tax Return for his self-employment.

• Copies of bank statements from our joint checking and savings accounts.

• Letter from Chase Cardmember Services showing that I was added as an authorized user on our credit card

• Letter and Declaration Page from State Farm showing that my husband is on the Homeowner’s Insurance Policy.

• Copy of our marriage certificate.

• Letter from Teachers’ Retirement System showing that my husband is the primary beneficiary

• Printout from NEA (National Education Association) showing that the Primary beneficiaries are my husband and children

• Letter from MetLife Insurance showing that my husband is my primary beneficiary.

• Letters of Affidavit from my sisters, my 23 year old daughter and my friends and co-workers.

• Copies of our passport biographic pages.

• Copy of Blue Cross Blue Shield Health Insurance card showing my husband as my dependent.

• Printout showing that my husband has dental insurance coverage.

• An EOB of my husband’s dental insurance claim.

• Information regarding his photography business and business bank account, including his business card.

• Printout showing deposit transfers from his business account to our joint checking account.

• Printout of T-Mobile phone plan that includes myself and my husband and utility bills in both our names.

• Copy of driver instruction permit. *he will be added to the car insurance when he gets his license.

• Hotel bookings for travel to my daughter’s college graduation, a weekend getaway to S**** R*** Park where we went hiking, and Sable at N*** P*** Hotel in *h*** to celebrate our anniversary.

• Printout showing out gym membership together.

• Copy of the puppy adoption contract for our dogwith our names.

some people here said u can submit 1 statemens for every quarter from the last statements u submitted when u got the GC. for example 1 year = 4 statements, can be january-april-august-december.

Letters from relatives aren’t compelling imho.  Are the friends and coworkers U.S. citizens?

yes they are  tax return transcripts.

yes they are  U.S. citizens

@red12345 only include evidence with both of your names. Or when spouse A paid medical bills / large purchases for spouse B or vice versa (showing both names).

I wouldn't include those. Just joint statements. They would show already deposits from his account and how the money is spent from joint account.

I bought the house 2 years before we were married. Is it ok if I explain in the cover letter that this is why my husband's name is not on the deed? We are supplying plenty of other evidence to show that we live at the same address.

Yes we have a couple utility bills in both names.

You are saying not to explain why he is not on the deed?  I also bought the car before he was here, so that is also only in my name.

Yes, unless they ask, do not explain.

He means where there is only his or your name that's not worth including.

 

Also, weaker evidence, but could be included:

- Photographs (2-3 per page) showing you in presence of other family members or friends, with description of who's on the photo, when it was taken etc. Include a few from each year.

- Scans of post cards or letters addressed to both of you

yes.  Do not explain.   I did not add my wife to my deed of my house cause, well (1)  it’s a lot of wealth (California Bay Area) to give to my spouse  and (2) there are limits on how much a spouse can give to an alien spouse each year without triggering estate / gift tax law reporting

I  advise you to add his name to  the title of the car.  
 

We filed I-751 in 2021 and were approved 12 months later.  One car had joint title.  The house remained in my name.  
 

For N-400 we have a new (replacement) house and it is joint title.
