AOS Checklist for I-485/I-765/I-131

Hi all, 

 

Could you please check my list of documents that I am sending for AOS. I have already submitted I-130 online. Also, should I include G-1145 for each form or the entire package itself?

I-485:

  • I-485 Filing Fee (Form G-1450)

  • G-1145 e-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance

  • Completed and Signed form I-485

  • Two passport-style photos of beneficiary

  • Copy of beneficiary’s passport

  • Copy of beneficiary’s birth certificate

  • Copy of F1 Visa and stamps on the passport

  • Copy of beneficiary’s I-94 Arrival-Departure Record

  • Receipt notice of I-130 Petition for alien relative

  • Copy of beneficiary’s I-20

  • Copy of marriage certificate

  • Copy of New York state domestic partnership

  • Copy of leases

  • Copy of bank account summary

  • Copy of Spectrum Internet service

  • Copy of utility bills

  • Historical financial transaction between petitioner and beneficiary

  • Confirmation of life insurance beneficiary

  • Affidavits of support from family and friends (4)

  • Relationship timeline of petitioner and beneficiary

  • Copy of cards between petitioner and beneficiary

  • Proof of shared travel between petitioner and beneficiary

  • Copy of previous I-797 approval notice of I-765 for beneficiary

I-864 AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT DOCUMENTATION:

  • Completed and signed form I-864

  • Copy of petitioner’s United States passport

  • Copy of petitioner’s birth certificate

  • Copy of petitioner’s IRS transcripts (2019, 2020 & 2021)

  • Petitioner’s employment verification

  • Copy of petitioner’s paystubs from the most recent 6 months

  • Copy of petitioner’s checking & savings account statement

  • Copy of intending immigrant's (household member) most recent (2021) tax returns and W2s/1099

  • Copy of intending immigrant's (household member) employment verification and paystubs from the most recent 6 months

  • Copy of intending immigrants checking & savings account statement

EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION (I-765):

  • Completed and signed form I-765 and two passport-style photographs of the beneficiary

  • Copy of beneficiary’s I-94 Arrival-Departure Record

  • Copy of beneficiary’s previous EAD

ADVANCE PAROLE (I-131):

  • Completed and signed form I-131 and two passport-style photographs of the beneficiary

  • Copy of beneficiary’s previous EAD

  • Copy of passport

  • Copy of I-797 approval notice of I-765 for beneficiary

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

You should reconsider this
