Yes and the advice we are giving applies to all of that. What exactly are you concerned about that would make you want to redact these things? If it's identity theft or fraud, then as I said before, they already have a ton of sensitive info on file so I don't see how ROC docs being redacted protects you from that. If it's privacy you are concerned about (like the amount of money in a retirement fund) - they don't care if you have $10 in an IRA or 5 million.

I also see from your timeline that you have gone through AOS so presumably, they got financial documents already from that process. Did you redact anything when doing AOS?

Personally, I wouldn't risk getting an RFE or causing USCIS to scrutinize your case.

for sure. thank you. yeah fair, i guess our own paranoia haha. no we didnt i dont think. all fair points. thanks

Hi all!

I am a filer right on the cusp of Dec/Jan and thought I would keep in touch here as well. I mailed my petition to Phoenix via USPS on 12/27/2022 and it was delivered 12/29. I just received my text message at around 5pm CST on 01/05/2023. We got Texas service center, which I was surprised by since we are CR1! Hopefully a good sign that our interview can be waived.

Best of luck to everyone!

I do not see how you came up with that conclusion. It certainly can be waived, but no guarantees. Good luck in any case!

Here is a screenshot from DHS... This is where I have based my conclusion from. Guaranteed? No, of course not. Perhaps I misunderstood, but the way I inferred it seems that MSC may have a higher possibility of interview.

Alright - mailed mine in. I think that makes me the first of our January filers. Four pounds total in weight. My USCIS baby should be delivered Monday morning!

Hello everyone! I just sent my ROC yesterday 1/3. Hopefully we will all have a smooth process.

An update to my case. Sent it on 1/3 via USPS Priority Express Mail 1-Day. But was not delivered the next day but the bright side is I’m getting a refund for my fee. Packet was delivered on 1/5 and just got a text today 1/9 that they received and NOA is on the way.

is the NOA the the extension letter or just that they received it?
