Hi there! I sent my package, it was received on 2 Jan 2024, however I did not submit the text notification form, which I deeply regret. Furthermore I made the poor decision of using a cashiers check, so I do not know whether it has been cashed. It has been 9 days since any update, and I am seeing everyone getting their NOAs in 4-5 days, and some of you with NOAs arriving in a future date. How do you determine this? Will I be able to see an update on myUSCIS before the NOA1 letter arrives? Feeling anxious, thanks for reading 🥹

NOA on 4-5 days? Really? The USPS part alone can take 4-5 days to deliver letter from USCIS to your address.

When I submitted mine it took like 6 weeks to receive NOA by mail.

Also, were you trying to send a message in January 2024 thread?

Yes you are right! I am on the wrong thread, thanks for pointing it out. I'll post in 2024. Yeah, I have been seeing really fast timelines in 2024.

Hi everyone!

I'm planning to file my N-400 this coming week. I've only started reading about the steps and things to submit. Has anyone filed theirs yet? I heard some people include letters/ROC receipt as evidence requesting for a combo interview since their I-751 is still pending. Did anyone do this? Wanna hear everyone's experiences during filing!

AOS (I-130, I-130A, I-131, I-485, I-765) Timeline:

12/07/19 - AOS Package Sent

12/17/19 - NOA1

12/26/19 - NOA1 for Biometrics Appointment

01/07/20 - Biometrics at Elizabeth, NJ

01/29/20 - I-485 & I-765 Case Status Updated to "Fingerprints were taken"

02/11/20 - I-485 Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview

05/15/20 - I-765 New card is being produced

05/18/20 - I-765 & I-131 Case was approved

ROC (I-751) Timeline:
01/18/23 -
ROC Package Sent
01/30/23 - 48 month extension letter received
03/27/23 - Another 48 month extension

You should absolutely do it to ensure IO is aware of pending I-751. It would never hurt. Do not include original ROC extension letter, only a copy.

There were cases when IO only found out about I-751 pending at the interview, and they got frustrated about it. Cannot find links, but it was on VJ.

Once your N400 gets to the interview stage then you're very much in a different queue than people only waiting on a i751.

I read when you submit for the N400, in the cover letter its not a bad idea to request combo interview so they know. should we not do that?

I did this after receiving N400 interview with pending i751. I just received interview descheduled notice yesterday on N400, with no other updates on i751. Crossing fingers, hopefully I get a new combo interview.

I also just had my interview cancelled. Was scheduled for later in April and cancelled about 12 days after I received the interview notice. Not sure why. Possibly something to do with waiting for I-751 paperwork who knows. Waiting to get scheduled again.
