@KBCN I filed in November 2021, still pending.

I picked 1 picture per month from the start of marriage (end of 2018) to the date I filed. Focused on selecting photos which had our friends and family, gathering for celebrating something or a having a meal. 3 photos per A4 page. Over the course of 3 years meaning it was around 36 photos, meaning 12 pages. Annotated all photos (where, when and who is in the photo). Included at the very end of packet.

Just curious on what everyone is doing for pictures... Are you submitting photos from the start of the marriage or just photos in the timeframe since the AOS application/interview?

I feel like this should be obvious but now second guessing everything, especially because we have so many pictures of trips and family events since our AOS interview that I don't know if we really need to go back to the beginning... Also our immigration officer didn't even look at the photos we brought 😅

Since marriage (everything else was given as part of AOS) and printed them out on regular printer paper. Did around 20 or so I think, with captions of who was in the photos (family, our parents etc). The new guidance makes it sound like smaller non-letter sized items are not appreciated - https://www.uscis.gov/newsroom/alerts/recommendations-for-paper-filings-to-avoid-scanning-delays

AGMic: "Will probably apply for N-400 March 2024 before my I-751 gets extended."

May I ask why March rather than January? AIUI the window for both is normally a year apart if you qualify for the 3 year N400? (I left my I751 a bit late, but plan to file the N400 as soon as the window opens in November this year.)

I've read here that it's best to apply for N-400 after the Green card's 3rd anniversary because someone got their application denied but I believe the person was not in the USA all this time living with the US Citizen spouse, something like that. It had to do with the residency requirement:

"if such person immediately preceding the date of filing his application for naturalization has resided continuously, after being lawfully admitted for permanent residence, within the United States for at least three years, and during the three years immediately preceding the date of filing his application has been living in marital union with the citizen spouse (except in the case of a person who has been battered or subjected to extreme cruelty by a United States citizen spouse or parent), who has been a United States citizen during all of such period, and has been physically present in the United States for periods totaling at least half of that time and has resided within the State or the district of the Service in the United States in which the applicant filed his application for at least three months." Taken from: https://uscode.house.gov/view.xhtml?req=granuleid%3AUSC-prelim-title8-section1430&num=0&edition=prelim

I do want to apply to N-400 as soon as I'm eligible (90 day window) as I've lived in the USA all of this time with my US Citizen spouse.

Yay, you too! I was thinking about you recently now that we are back in the immigration filing world 😂  Hope you’re doing well!

Same here! We basically have the same timeline so I remember you. Hopefully it won’t take too long but can’t really tell 😅 Hope you’re doing great too! 🙂
